Sat in on a class today that discusses terror threats within our country. Many think tanks believe the reason we haven't been attacked on our soil since 9/11 is because the terrorists believe this would have emboldened the public's support for Bush and his war on terror. I can tell you with certainty that the terrorists are here and scheming against our country. It is only a matter of time before they actually succeed in doing so. It will be interesting to see Obama's response when this happens. I can only hope that his access to intel that he never had until now will open his eyes to this very real threat. I also hope that his ability to protect our country means more to him than appeasing the bleeding heart liberals who seek to cater to terrorists (Gitmo). Pretty depressing. I hope I'm wrong :-
terror is a joke , u cannot stop it ........for ex. if i knock at your door and u open it, invite me in , i pull a gun and shoot everyone in the room.... u cannot stop that!.. if i make a bomb and wear it and pull the triger u cant stop that!
Especially if you coddle them and give them more rights than our government and military. You would be surprised how much is stopped before it happens. I could give you example after example. The idea IS to prevent it before it happens. God forbid the government use wire taps to be able to foil these mother f ers plots. If you don't think it is a problem, than continue to turn a blind eye and wait for it to happen. Ignoring it is cowardly and naive. I feel sorry for Obama if the economy stops the way it did after 9/11. Compound our current status ten fold. If Americans don't feel Obama can keep us safe, a four year term is inevitible.
By the way........McCain agrees with Obama's plan to withdraw our troops from Iraq. That is true bipartisanship. He truly has the American peoples' interest at heart. Also, McCain's comments about the helicopters wasn't much of joke after all. Obama agrees that something needs to be done about the procurement process. Cut McCain some slack........he's a true American hero.
