Call me cynical, but I truly believe that 90% of Washington politicians are crooks. They may have good intentions when they get there, but something changes after they get inside the beltway. To be fair, it's both parties too. Don't you ever read stuff and think to yourself "how can a supposedly intelligent person do such stupid things?" I do all the time.
