One week from tonight, President Obama will make an Address to Congress that is the equivalent of a State of the Union speech.

It's been almost a month since Barack moved into the White House and already we've seen change we can believe in -- Guantanamo has been ordered to close, car emission standards have been raised, anti-choice gag rules have been rescinded, and he got Congress to pass his first big stimulus package -- to name just a few.

Not bad for his first month.

But there's so much more to do. So, if you were President and you were addressing Congress next week. What issues would get top priority in the your administration?

WHAT DO YOU THINK SHOULD BE AMERICA'S TOP PRIORITY?

Our country is facing huge challenges. Economic meltdown, wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and an increasingly dangerous climate crisis are all issues Obama will have to tackle.

We need to work for progressive change now more than ever.

Opportunities for healthcare for all, protecting the American worker, and investing in education are here. Should we restore constitutional protections by banning warrantless wiretapping, repealing the patriot act, or investigating the misuse of power by President Bush?

Barack has promised to move our country forward and we need to make sure he lives up to his commitment. DFA members won't sit back and hope progressive change happens in America, we're going to work for it.

Let President Obama know what your top priorities are. Imagine yourself as President TOLLIN and tell us where you would lead the nation in 2009.

Thank you for all that you do,
