the sinking ship!.....i want change

Why is it always on our nickel? When our families have budget concerns due to our personal financial situations, we tighten our belts by spending less. That is at our discretion. When our government has budget concerns, as we do now, we also have to tighten our belts to pay for it all. Why in the world are we maintaining the spending at virtually the same rate on countries like Israel? Why are we giving our usual share to any country? Why do the citizens of this country have to foot the entire bill for other governments when millions of us are losing jobs, paying over 25 percent more for food, not having the Arab countries paying most of the expense in the Middle East with their oil money as George Bush had promised? Where was our illustrious government when any sane person could have realized the mortgage debacle was purely greed on the part of the mortgage companies? It was so painfully obvious that principals would have been cannibalized, equities would have been dissolved, and the whole thing would come crashing down on us. We are fortunate the entire planet doesn’t bomb us for what we did to them. Mr. Bush, you are public enemy No. 1.
