What's the diff between a casino and the market? The casino is regulated. It has rules, people watching for tricks, illegal strategies, etc. I am 54 years old, and I have seen nothing like the past few years. Hedge Funds (unregulated), sub-prime mortgages (unregulated), derivatives (unregulated) and finally credit swaps (incomprehensible and unregulated.) I don't even know what the stock market is anymore as a member of the Fed.

Thank God Obama choose an outsider from the NY Fed, IMF and CFC to bring about change. What a joke. The market rallies 500 or so points simply because someone might be in charge. IMHO, the fox is now guarding the chicken coup.

If one reads Griffin's book about the Fed, he explains that the reason for the 1913 Federal Reserve Act was to eliminate competition by the Money Changers. We're coming up on the 100th anniversary, and the dollar is now worth 4 cents, we are getting rid of investment banks, and everything else that is not controlled by the Fed.

Don Corleone could never have pulled this off.
