My 2003 golf wagers stand at + 1550.

Head to head matchups :

Vijay Singh -130 vs Davis Love III
Thomas Bjorn +105 vs Paul Casey
Ernie Els +140 vs Tiger Woods
Darren Clarke -170 vs Sergio Garcia
Nick Price -110 vs Padraig Harrington
Phillip Price -120 vs Stephen Leaney

Wagers to place in top 4 :

Ernie Els +140
Darren Clarke +650
Phillip Price +3000 !!!
Phillip may be playing the best golf in Europe at this time.2 weeks ago he won the Irish Open and placed 2nd last week in the Scottish Open.He is an experienced Ryder Cup player and has a nice type of game for this short, quirky course.

Prop bets ( players making the cut )

Sergio Garcia NO +240
Phil Mickelson NO +250

AS always, good luck to those who wager on golf this week.

i have watched your golf now for about a month now Fingerlakes and I am finally going to bet with you. I got some extra money in my account and could use some winners and you seem to really know your golf. Good luck

Lakes-
That is a hell of a card for the 03 British Open.I agree with most of your head-to-head choices.I really like Els over Woods and Clarke over Garcia.I think Garcia is a hothead and will easily lose his temper on this course.Have you headr the reports that Tiger was bitching about his clubs the other day?Just wondering.

This is going to be a fun tourny to watch.
Got a few of the same plays F/L

Match
Clarke -165 def Garcia
Els +150 def Woods (nice value)

1st rd
Clarke -140 def Garcia
Clarke -155 def Mickelson

Handicap plays
Els +2 21/1
Furyk +5 28/1
Weir +5 28/1
Faldo +12 19/1

F/L didnt get a chance to post last week did well with Clarke and sticken with him preety much this week.
I am doing some work for a guy who lives in Keens Point and is a golfer. He teaches and plays the Hooters tour and some other small tours around here in the winter. But as you know a lot of these guys play for money when they practice. This guy went out and shot 1 stroke over the course record last week and now everyone he plays wants strokes, but on the up side he been getting offers to play with the PGA guys who live here. Just thought Id pass that on to you knowing you played that course and know how nice it is. Good luck this week.
