ANALYSIS:

Minny enters 6-0 with highest national ranking in years. Michigan has lost 2 of 3 and appears to be reeling. Michigan opened -2.5 and reached +1.5 earlier this week. Michigan's stock has fallen drastically in the eyes of the oddsmakers, and the gambling public.

Michigan outgained Iowa by over 160 yards in tough loss last week. Mistakes and special teams have hurt the Wolverines in their losses. Look for a very focused effort from this talented Michigan team on Friday night.

While National Chamionship and Heisman talk has disappeared, Michigan still has its eyes on the Rose Bowl. This is the beginning of their run, and I love the way this game sets up for them.

Minnesota has gotten "healthy" statistically vs. inferior comptetion. Michigan is in a different class, and it will show on Friday night. Look for the Gophers to make the costly mistakes, and for Michigan to cash in.

Michigan is 31-2 SU vs. Minny in last 33, including 14 straight wins. The "Little Brown Jug" will stay where it bolongs (in Ann Arbor) for another year. Until I see otherwise, Michigan always beats Minnesota in football.
