Boys, I have gotten over my anger from earlier in the week. That relief came in the form of a hole in one. Par 3 about 155, PW fades a bit on me, kicks right real nice and tracks right into the hole. I couldn't believe it. Still can't believe it. I think I am in shock. I guess the $700 I dropped on new sticks this year paid off

#9 was the hole http://www.washtenawcc.com/visitors/gcLayout.asp

No freakin' way!!! Holy...

Awesome job! That is likely something I will never have the pleasure of witnessing.

What did you and your foursome say as it was happening (what was the play-by-play)?

Must be a cool feeling. Congrats. (Too bad it wasn't a tourney with a sponsored hole, you know, like for a Jaguar or something. )

I got some serious iron power for a slender cat. 155 with PW is like 110%. I was elevated a little though so I figured better to be short. I can get 130 out of a SW if I really need too.

I usually hit an 8 about 165 from the fairway about 185 with my 7.

Congrats on the ace. 155 yds is really leaning on a PW. That's a solid 8 for me under normal conditions. I had one in 1985 and also have the ball and scorecard framed. It was on a league night and cost me a bundle in the bar. Had to run a tab and pay it the next day !

Luckily this was at a CC where I wasn't a member and the clubhouse was basically empty

I picked up a lot this year already with these new sticks. I think the straight shafts rather then the rifle did the trick. Got a substantial amount more distance this season from my irons and have increased my aiming 10 fold.
