APEX is the latest casualty of the sports book business. Indications are that many players will be left high and dry without their funds.

If you are a player there I will be happy to assist you all I can in getting you paid either in full or partially. Please contact me at [email protected] with your acct #, acct balance and a brief summary of your situation.

Another one falls... how many spring up in the meantime, I wonder...

Look for a whole new host of them by Football.

These cats actually wanted to advertise with us about 8 months back and I turned them down because I didn't hold one of their principals in very high regard and suspected this would happen.

I hope nobody here ended up with them.

Always amazad that the people that are involved in a book failure are able to rebound so quickly with a new name (as in the case of Apex) and find sites that trumpet the "new" book knowing full well the history of the participants. Hopefully players will remember not only the bad books but the less then reputable sites that assisted their reincarnation. There is still one forum that is offering a 25% signup bonus with Apex, fully aware of the current situation.

Good job, MC. I'm glad there are people like you in the know about these things.

So true, moose. It's just like other con operations. An operation gets shut down, they just move to the next one. It's so hard to follow the trail, too. Not everyone can possibly know the histories.

Didn't the Apex guys split off from another book when they couldn't get along with other heads?

I can never remember the stories, but I thought I remember them kind of using their previous experience as a selling point as to why one should play with Apex.

APEX is basically Diamond who were located next to the BoDog office and bailed last year leaving all kind of personal info left behind in their office as well as many players stiffed.

The people involved each pretty much blamed one another for the failure and out of that APEX was born. Once I saw the mess they left in CR I knew anything these guys touched in the future would more then likely end up being bad news.

One of the main people (Robbie) pretty much has said that what is left he is keeping for his personal account and everyone can just deal with it.

I can't stress enough that not every book that has a nice bonus is worth your business. It's a cliche but if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.

Although we have been affected by deadbeats as well all of you know (or should know) that I do my best to only bring on the best here and when I do bring someone on you know I will have your back 100% if anything ever happens. Hardly any other site out there will offer you that kind of security.

In most case that is true, but Robbie was so arrogant that he never even tried to hide his connection with Diamond. One of the few times when people should have actually known with whom they were dealing. Guaranteed that McPhail will resurface before football season with a new name and will be prominently promoted by the same forums that promoted Apex. Anything for a kickback. Hopefully people wont get fooled again by forums that lack integrity and will endorse anyone for a buck.
