One thing I have come to realize over the years is that when teams from the same city play each other, the underdog is usually a good play. There are 2 such games on the west coast tonight.

1.) San Diego +6 at SD St.
This game opened up at +9 and is now at +6 as there are some reported injuries for the Aztecs. San Diego has had 6 days off and is playing an Aztec team that had a hard fought, emotional, nationally televised game vs. Bobby Knight and Tex Tech on Monday night. Can Fisher get his team motivated to play again tonight against a rested, city rival that wants badly to win. I'm leaning toward no and taking the points.

2.) USC +6 at UCLA
Not much needs to be said about this rivalry. UCLA's last 2 home games have been outright losses as a favorite to Mich and No. Ariz. Perhaps Capono had his big night the other night when he dropped 44 on Wash St. Tough to have 2 nights like that in a row. Other than him I'm not to impressed with what I've seen from UCLA this year and Lavin isn't a good enough coach to lead a team with mediocre talent. I'll take Henry Bibby and the motivated same city under dog in this game as well.
If I've missed on my analysis here please share your thoughts.
Hey Big T, any insights on these 2 games in your neck of the woods ?

UCLA is horrible. They shouldn't be favored over anyone this season.

1 win, 1 push on these 2 games last night. Not too bad.
