I just read an article in NYPost that quated Barry Bonds as saying "I'm Better" than the Babe.At first glance this looks like your typical modern day athlete tooting his own horn.But if you look at the stats it really is a close comparison.Here is a glance.

Although Bonds blows away Ruth in StolenBases,that is the only category where he has the edge.Ruth did all of this in fewer games and fewer AB's.He has more hits and more RBIS while also scoring more Runs.I am only 28 years old,but I have respect for the players of Ruth's era.Barry Bonds may very well be the greatest ballplayer I will ever see,but he will never be THE BABE.Now I know why people think he is an [censored]!lol.
