MLB

Kansas City Royals at Detroit Tigers

Suppan seeks revenge from a setback suffered by the Tigers and Weaver - Note Detroit is 4-12 vs Div and 5-13 vs Right handers This year.ROYALS (3*)

Tampa Bay Devil Rays at Minnesota Twins

Reason: Minnesota LH Milton avenges last week's horrible performance vs. TBay. Metro Dome has been preferred venue of the Twins this season posting MLB's best home record at 8-1. TWINS (3*)

Philadelphia Phillies at San Francisco Giants

The Phillies were swept at Colorado over the weekend and are now just 8-16 on the year, including 2-9 on the road. Robert Person goes tonight and last year was a very effective pitcher at home for the Phillies (they were 14-3 in his starts), but wasn't much away from home, with the team going just 6-10 and Person having an ERA of more than one-run per game higher, than at home! This year, he's been ineffective, home and away! He's 0-3 (5.23 ERA) and the Phillies are 1-4, in his five starts. Jason Schmidt (the Giants were 16-9 in his 25 starts last year) makes his 2nd start of the year for SF and I'll back him tonight. GIANTS (4*)

NBA

Sacramento Kings at Utah Jazz

The first three games of this series have been close. That will not be the case in tonight's game. The Kings will take the lead early and never look back. Expect the Kings to post some impressive numbers on offense. KINGS (4*)

GOOD LUCK ALL

Boxer I would be careful betting on the Twins against Tampa. The Devil Rays are 12-3 in the last 15 meetings. Last year they swept them in Tampa then went to MInnesota and took two out of three, MIlton has been absolutely horrible against the boys from Tampa he has lost his last 3 starts against them, he is 1-3 in nine starts against them with an ERA of 6.66. While Kennedy has been very solid against the Twins he is 4-2 against them with an ERA of 2.06. And the Devil Rays have been actually hitting lefties very well batting.296 against them in their last 5 games. Sometimes certain teams just seem to own another team which is pretty evident here,I will take my chances with the +160 dog and I am not real nervous about it either. Good luck in all that you play (except Minny LOL)

Hate to disagree, but I think Detroit will have little problem with K.C. tonight. First off, they are teams headed in opposite directions (Det - won 7 of 12 and swept Minn who's a much better team than KC while KC lost 4 of 5 and are showing signs of internal bickering). Weaver has already shown he can handle KC and he did it at KC. Detroit just seems to be on a major high right now and I don't think they will let down in front of the home crowd. I wish we could all be on the same side of the fence all the time, but s**t happens! [Roll Eyes]
