I am a Phillies fan, but I may go against them in both games and hope the worst that happens is I get a split and make a little.

Although they have their 2 top pitchers going, the team itself is banged up. There is a case of the flu going around the clubhouse...Giambi has a sore hamstring...Coggin is done for the year...they used 6 pitchers last night, so if they have to go to the bullpen, they may be in trouble.

Padilla may be getting tired. He has thrown a lot of innings between this season and winter ball. Wolf, although pitching very well, will have a clunker sooner or later.

Just a feeling, but I don't see a sweep, especially coming off of 4 straight losses to the Mets.

Good luck.

i think the best bet here is the phills in game one.the way Randy Wolf (11-7, 3.15) has been pitching i do not see the bullpen come into use here.however i do like the marlins in game 2.and the phills did face a red hot mets team.yhe meats are a great team to bet in september.i think i played them 4 or 5 times already and won every game with them.

I am also a huge Phillies fan and I see them winning behind a strong effort from Wolf. If Wolf coninues his incredible second half performance, the tired bullpen will not come into play. Depth should not be a problem until the second game. I think the first game is a huge play. I would lay off of the second game though, when Chris' concerns will come into play!
