I know I am gonna get boo'd for this but I think the Lakers have a very, very good chance getting rolled in the first round. They are good don't get me wrong, but so are/were the Red Wings.

U heard it here first!

I'm a tad surprised the Detroit line is not higher, regardless of Wallace's status (maybe our fearless leader MC can give some insight as to why that might be so). May be value there.

The Sixers got a (low) line they deserved, but I believe they'll turn it up a notch here and take care of Nawlins.

I'd like to think the Portland will give Dallas a run, as many do. If I had to choose a dog, that'd be the one.

Most of the others look straightforward, with big lines where they are deserved.

Just one man's opinion. (Disclaimer: I rarely bet the NBA.)

I actually watched a couple of games after Wallace went down. Against the Sixers and the next night against the Bulls. Let me say that they aren't the same team and the dynamic of the team is WAY different.

Also going back a few years they historically don't play their best ball again the Magic. I think a lot of that factors in to that number as well. Does it mean that I think the Pistons will lose? Not at all but the book maker needs to get action on both sides of the matchup and others are also aware of the Magic history and won't buy into too big of a number and vice versa.

As a rule of thumb I don't ever recommend laying more then -200 max and in this case I still don't to be honest. But if you are asking strictly about value and don't mind laying over -200 then I say yes there is value in this line because without Wallace and drawing any other matchup besides the Magic and this line is at least 40-50 higher.
