Starts friday with 2 games. Better pitching staffs generaly are the better teams of course. In the past the better teams at the end of the week will become very large favorites and often cover. I play the favorites every game.

Fri 2pm
G Tech -115
S Car -115 Like S Car great bats on this team.
they beat miami in the last inning
sunday scoring 5 runs.

Fri 7pm
Neb +100
Clemson -130 Like clemson

Sat 1:30pm
N Dame -110
S Car -120 Again like S Car because of bats. N/D
played well at #1 FSU and may be the
surprise of the CWS.

Sat 7pm
Texas +105
Rice - 135 Playing Rice

Folks enjoy these games they are a lot of fun to watch. Most are on ESPN 9 days of fun baseball.

I can watch a few innings while I am flippin, but after awhile that "ping" just gets on my nerves.

For the life of me I don't know why they won't change over to wood bats. Makes me feel like I am watching the little league world series.

You do see some bombs though. I would like to see Barry Bonds get ahold of an aluminum bat. [Smile]

Thanks for the info on the games Higg!

MC the reason I was given for the pinging bats is it would be to expensive to replace wood bats all the time. I think the football teams goes thru more money on tape for the players than new bats would cost.

These games as a rule for the last few years have the favorites winning the majority of the games. Last year I think only 3 or 4 games were won by the dogs.

What a cop out. I agree, football almost has to use more tape then bats would cost. And I'm sure if they tried hard enough they could get louisville or someone to sponsor the teams like nike and addidas do for sneakers.

Goona see where I can get lines on these games and see what the favs can do for me.

I live in Omaha, and have been attending games for 30+ years, nothing quite like it we are so lucky to hold this event, the bats do add excitment but are very dangerous. The cost is a savings and college baseball dosn't bring the revenue that football does but they shuold go to wood for safty reasons. With Nebraska in, the crowds will be strong even though they are anyway. Great setting and you get to see the future stars. We will have great weather all week. Play ball.

I went to the Lousiville slugger museum when I was out there for the derby. They have a new composite bat that acts just like wood bust lasts long like aluminum. I hope they adobt these.
