best bets (0-1 last week) ((1-2 year)
strong plays (1-0 last week) (2-2 year)
regular plays (1-1 last week) (2-3-1 year)
opinions (3-2 last week) (8-7 year)

overall (5-4 last week) (13-14-1 year)

here are all of my picks for the week, including the thursday night game. off to a really slow start for me in college football. i am used to it in the pro's, i usually do better than this in the colleges. here we go..........

michigan state -2 over notre dame (best bet)................i was wrong going against notre dame last week, but not this week. with the irish winning and michigan state losing at home to california as a double digit favorite, we have alot of value with the spartans this week. if this game was the first for both teams this year, mich. state would be a 7 point or larger favorite. i think last weeks results gives us a great deal with the spartans this week. i still feel the irish are getting lucky and are over rated at this point. michigan state will be fired up and i look for a supreme effort from them here as they beat the irish with a little bit of room to spare this week. spartans win 31-13.

virginia tech -1.5 over texas a&m (strong play).........tech has really proven themselves to me, there is life after michael vick. i think the aggies have some problems and they are not up to the regular a&m teams of the past. winning at the aggies is very tough to do, but virginia tech can and will do it this week. laying less than a field goal is not too much to ask.

tulane +7.5 over memphis (strong play).......i really feel that this game is dead even and it can go either way. memphis at home is not worth more than a touchdown. i don't see either team winning this by more than a touchdown.

vanderbilt +21 over mississippi (regular play)................just have a strong gut feeling that this game will be closer than expected. miss should blow them out, but something tells me they won't. don't think the rebs will be up for this one and vandy can sneak under the number here.

s mississippi +7 over alabama (regular play)..............should be a very close, tight game. bama just does not seem the same to me anymore, they don't seem to blow teams out the way they used to.. s miss. at 3-0 can certainly give them all they can handle.. bama by 4.

the rest of my picks are just opinions

auburn -2 over miss state (really like this tiger team this year, going to suprise people)

colorado +11.5 over ucla (now that the buffs lost two people won't up for them like before the season started, they were supposed to be great this year.)

c michigan +6.5 over indiana (strictly a power ratings play, i think c mich is the better team here)
