Analysis:

Penn St/ Ohio St:

Those that follow me know how I love to fade the anemic Nittany Lions. This will be a low scoring game, because the OSU "D" will smother Penn State's offense. I used Wiscy (-3) at home earlier this year for a big 3* score and easy win 16-3. Buckeyes will get this with room to spare...

Mizzou/ Nebraska:

Huge game for Nebraska as they are tied atop the Big 12 North division. Last year Mizzou (+7) ended a 23 year losing steak vs. Huskers by winning 41-24. Now the Tigers are favored @ Lincoln, and I don't buy it.

Nebraska is 21-1 SU at home off a loss since 1976, and Mizzou is 1-19 SU away off a SU and ATS loss, when facing a team with a winning record. Huskers are pumped up for this game, and will make their best showing of the year!

NEBRASKA 27-20!

Florida/ Georgia:

This one is by the book. I have backed the Gators in this game for the last 10+ years and have only lost once. Fla coach Ron Zook was fired earlier this week after losing to Miss St as a 24 pt fav. I expect the best effort of the year from this Gator squad in this game. Players have made it obvious that they like Zook, and I think they will play for him and their fans on Saturday. Now the pressure is gone, and they can let it rip. Great underdog spot for the Gators.

Florida is 13-1 SU vs. GA in last 14, and 11-3 ATS in this series. Florida is 9-0 as an SEC dog , and the underdog is now 20-3 in Florida Games under Zook! Until I see otherwise........

Tennessee/ South Carolina: (SEC Game of the Year)

Line opened TN -2.5, now a pick @ most shops. Every tip sheet I have seen is picking SC to finally get it done vs. the Vols. There has been significant wagering on SC since opening lines were posted, but I will back the Vols in this spot.

South Carolina has played UT tight recently.

2003- SC +15 loses 20-23 in OT (@ Knoxville)
2002- SC +2 loses 10-18 (10-11 entering 4Q in Columbia)
2001- SC +7.5 loses 10-17 (tied 10-10 in 4Q @ Knoxville)
2000- SC +1.5 loses 14-17 (TN TD in last :55 in Columbia)

The Vols always find a way to win a close, low scoring game. The Vols have a HUGE special teams advantage in the punting and place kicking game. SC still does not know who the starting QB/leader of the team is entering game #8! When all of the QBs were healthy, SC was still changing QBs every other possession.

Road team is 7-0 ATS last 7 years in this series, and the Vols are 11-0 SU in this series. TN off 2 straight 4 point wins assures focus in this one. Vols own 'em, and until I see otherwise....
