I Like the odds on the following teams to win straight up this week. I base these plays on the value of the odds, Psych advantage, motivation, injuries, trends, and power ratings.

1/10* Baylor Bears ml +1250 @ Kansas (why not?)
1/4* Notre Dame ml +280 v.USC
1/4* Michigan St ml +200 @ Minny
1/4* Texas A & M ml +360 @ Nebraska
1/4* W. Michigan ml +450 @ N. Ill
1/4* Washington ml +380 @ Or St
1/4* Kent State ml +420 v.UConn

Analysis:

Ohio St/Iowa:

The Buckeyes finally lost last week @ Wisconsin ending their 19 game unbeaten streak. Now the pressure is gone, and I expect a solid effort from the Buckeyes at Home. They still have their eyes on the Rose Bowl, and should rebound nicely against this overachieving Iowa squad. Look for a stellar effort from the OSU Defense at home. I expect Iowa to make the mistakes and turnovers in this one, and that will be the difference......

South Carolina/LSU:

I have to go against my beloved Gamecocks in this spot. I don't like the way this game sets up for them. Had LSU rolled over Florida last week (and come into this game undefeated with a top five ranking) and laying 9-10 pts, I would have been all over SC. However, the Tigers had their pants pulled down on National TV and lost 19-7 to the Gators in Baton Rouge. Now the Tigers are only a 3.5 point Favorite, and will be a much tougher opponent. I expect a very focused effort from LSU in this primetime ESPN telecast. I will be at this game Saturday night, and the atmosphere will be electric. However, I am 3-1 this year playing on or against SC, and on this night my $ is on LSU..........
