Reason: This game reminds of us the Bengals/Colts game yesterday (we had the Bengals +150). Pittsburgh comes into this game with no competition for any starting jobs (save the inside linemaker position), and really have nothing to play for. In fact, if you read the Pittsburgh papers, the overwhelming feeling is "Let's scrap the preseason and get right to week one". Washington on the other hand has the exact opposite attitude towards the preseason. Washington will again play all three quarterbacks, with Wuerffel starting, Rosenfels playing the 2nd quarter and Matthews playing the entire 2nd half. Washington's defense will also play the entire 1st half. We think Washington will pull away sometime in the 2nd half behind Matthews, who will be going against 3rd and 4th stringers. The fact that this is Washington's home opener also helps out our play here. Check this quote from Spurrier, " We want to put on a good performance Sunday night. We'll try to give the fans something to yell and cheer about". That's good news for Redskins backers.
