We hope you had a profitable Sunday, if not hopefully you can use this play to get some of that cash back. We are up close to 10 units on the NFL season. Check out our past performance at www.thebettorsedge.com

Here is our play for MNF:

10/21/02 Play: Pitt/Indy OVER 46

Reason: The buzz at the beginning of the NFL season was about how Tony Dungy was going to re-invent the Colts horrible defense. Well, while Dungy might have a great football mind, he is missing one key ingrediant for the defense: Talent. The Colts are still in the infant stages of adapting to Dungy's cover 2 scheme, and have yet to put it together. On offense, the triplets of Manning, Harrison and James are all in place, but the offensive line must perform better than it did last week in Baltimore if Indy is going to move the ball, which we think they will. Pittsburgh has struggled thus far this season, and the main reason appears to be defense. The Steelers "D" has yielded 30 points in 3 games this season, all losses, that ain't too good. You can bet Manning will test that "D" early and often. On the other side of the ball, the benching of Kordell Stewart (what took so long?) means an upgrade in the passing game. Tommy Maddox may not be Brett Favre, but he has proven to be an effective passer in his two starts. Our numbers are calling for both teams to score between 24 and 31 points. While, we don't see any value in the spread, we certaintly like the 'over'

Basketball is only a week away! Are you prepared? The action comes hot and heavy every night, why not let us do the work for you?
