Reason: There are not many situations during a football season that you will see linesmakers not give enough respect to a legitimate superbowl contending team. We feel that here is an exception to the rule. San Francisco was in the playoffs last year and they are returning most of their defense and most of their offensive starters. On the other hand, the Giants did not make the playoffs and had to retool their entire offensive line. Dusty Ziegler the starting center for the Giants will not play. Luke Pettegoat is going to have to start, and will playing his third position in three years. This coupled with Tiki Barbar being questionable for the game with a strained hamstring makes this offense very questionable. Be careful though, we like this game at 3.5 but we would be wary betting it at 4.5 or higher.
