MC, is the area buzzing over the Lions this camp? Loaded up nicely in the draft, a young team on the upswing. Add the fact that Detroit's coming off an NBA championship, the town must be psyched for football ?

Hey NL,

I am excited don't get me wrong but I don't have real great expectations for this season still. I think we will be better then last season but I still don't think we will be a contender. I think people that are all taking over 6.5 wins may have another thing coming. As good as this team may be when compared to previous years they still have to find a way to win on the road which they haven't done the whole careers of most of our squad.

No matter how good you may be the mental impact of that may be too much to overcome.

I think they will fall right on 6 wins even though they may play better, they will lose some heartbreakers this season.
LOL.

Is Harrington the real deal?

The thing about Detroit that a lot of people don't realize is that our development staff is wack. We have ruined more players then we have ever cultivated. Joey has the potential no doubt but this organization has a bad reputation of trying to force people into styles that they aren't accustomed to. As long as they focus on his strengths he will do fine. They try to force him into the wrong mold and he will go the way of Peete and Mitchell.
