The White Sox beat the Twins last night in Minnesota, 3-0, behind some great pitching by Mark Buehrle. It's not likely they'll get the same kind of performance tonight, from Jon Garland. Garland has an ERA of 7.26 over his last seven starts and a road ERA this year, of 6.45. In two previous starts against the Twins this year, he's allowed TWENTY hits in just 11 innings, and has an ERA of 9.00! Joe Mays of the Twins is 6-0 with an ERA of 2.67 vs the White Sox and seems to be rounding into form, after being out for three months, due to injury.
DUMP PLAY is TWINS -169
Also after his last two starts in which his era was about 8-9 he has complained in our media about having a dead arm! The numbers ahow it, and Manuel, his coach, hasn't rested him yet. Hopefully after another dreadful night tonight he will finally allow hime to miss a start !
