Hungarian Grand Prix Sunday August 6th:
1/4* Fernando Alonso to WIN +450
Just a small hunch here, and I like the value. Alonso has been on a bit of a slide recently but he won 4 straight prior to that. Michael Shumacher has been on a tear recently but is listed at -220 to Win this week. I have a small hunch that Alonso and the Renault team will step up this week. I am playing this before practice and qualifying starts Friday. If Alonso can land the pole he will go off around even money. I think he will qualify either 1st or 2nd, and I don't think we will get a better price than right now.
If you want insurance play Michael Schumacher -220 (Bodog or Olympic), as one of these two has won all but one race this year!
Alonso has won 6 races this year while Michael Schumacher has 5 wins (3 straight) and that is 11 out of 12 between them for the year. The value is with Alonso and Team Renault because of the recent streak by Schumacher. Prior to Schumacher's streak Alonso won 4 straight races. Time to get back on track.........
