Florida is looking for their first win at Doak Campbell Stadium since 1986.I feel that they will win this game and here are some reasons why.
They are meeting a Seminole team in complete disarray.FSU off a 17-7 loss at NC St that wasn't as close as the final score.FSU's worst offensive output since 1986 ( 177 total yds ) FSU was 5' pt fave in this game and failed to cover for 2nd consecutive week.
Coach Bowden kicked QB McPherson off team on Mon morning.He is being questioned by police in relation to a $3500 check forgery at a local bank. He had played well but was ineffective in Raleigh going 8-20 for 80yds.It would seem Bowden rushed to judgement in this case when in the past he has allowed players who were charged with crimes to continue playing.Chris Rix will start at QB.Rix is 13-7 as a starter and was benched after the loss to Notre Dame.
In addition to the above distractions FSU has several key performers injured for this game. Starting tailback Greg Jones is out for the year and backups Willie Reid (questionable) and Nick Maddox (probable) are banged up.Look for freshman Washington to start and get most of the carries.
