because of time constrants on monday we where unable to get over here and post our MONDAY PLAY OF THE DAY on NILL+8 as we did over at JD's site but to make up for some lost time on our parts towards this site look for at least 1 POD on tuesday and possilbly a few more right here this week!! it is very hard for me to give you even 8 hours notice as to the time of our POD and with the schedule starting at noon for just about the rest of the month you are going to have to pay attention as we will make every effort to post the POD's at night if at all possible!! we are currently 8-2 on our CONFRENCE GAMES OF THE YEAR in which we started just about 2 weeks ago and will finish up throughout the touney!! Arli$$, i'm not sure if I'm the only one that feels this way, but this forum is for insights on games. Cash offers "free" service plays from some very successful cappers. I think that is awesome and I'd do anything to contribute to keeping a site like this going. I have seen several people's picks each night and they have ALL done very well. I believe you posted picks on here one night, and yes you did very well, but that was just one night. I believe Oopie went about 7-0 one night and 6-2 the next on here. He is not in here asking for $$ for his opinions. I understand that you are a great capper, but I think this site is consisted of about 10 very good cappers right now. Boxer, Blackjack, and MC to name a few all have done VERY well with their posts in here and haven't asked for one penny yet...as they realize they shouldn't. I apologize if I'm the only one that feels this way, but I have seen a lot of "We're gonna post games of years tomorrrow!!" and a lot of people let down. Good luck with your posts and I wish you and everyone else on here the best with nightly picks. Cash, I apologize if this offends anyone, but it seems that this is free service and if Arli$$ wants to make $ for his picks, i see a few open spots that he could pay you to advertise on...just not in the forum where people gladly post their picks free of charge. That would help both of you out I believe...then whoever wanted to purchase Arli$$ picks could click his link and wire him $50. Comments and opinions will be greatly appreciated...either for or against. Thanks and GO TOPPERS!!!
Socrates-Thanks for the kind words. And as to your comments about Arli$$, Usually, in order for people to promote their service, the board moderator asks that they give out a free play. Unless there is a specific area on the board for people to promote their service. I dont know if MC has a spot for that or not. Hope this helps.

Ugh, I hate having to address stuff like this.....
First let me say that I invited Arli$$ over here to post his plays and promote himself. He has proved to be consistant and above all honest with his selections and service. With that being said here are my thoughts...
I want Arli$$ to post here and I think that his record should keep him from getting any bad run. As far as the money issue, he does run a service but what he provides here is still free. The only catch to that is he throws a blurb at the bottom about his pay service. Personally I don't mind that. I suppose in theory he should be posting his free plays here and posting info about his pay service in the promotions area. If he was to do that then I'm sure at the bottom of that post he would include a blurb that said "check out the promotions area for details on our pay service". To me, I don't see much of a difference. I won't allow blatant advertisment in the "Book Joint" thread but as long as it is accompanied by some free info I don't really mind unless someone really over does it. Which I don't feel Arli$$ is currently doing.
And to address the let down, I'd have to go back and check but I think that Arli$$ said something about having connection problems last week and that is why he couldn't post or something. Does anyone remember that or am I thinking of someone else? I will go back and look after I post this but I think that may be what Socrates is referring to. If that was the case go easy on him about that. It happens to us all.
Anyway, those are my thoughts. As with Socrates I appreciate any other input anyone has about this issue. Like I said, I don't mind it if it accompanies free info. If you guys do let me know and I will get with Arli$$ and talk to him about seperating his posts into the two threads.

IT just seems that his only purpose is to promote his services that cost $$. I wish he'd come in here and say "Great picks guys" to people like blackjack, oopie, mc, and everyone who comes every day and posts their picks. I look forward to your insights Arli$$ and hope that it will benefit the forum...just please if you are asking for $$, there is a promotions section that would be glad to have your promotions. If you want to put picks up, go for it!! We will let your picks do the talking...that will be all the advertisement you will need if you give 65-75% winners like several of the "free service plays" listed on the left hand side of this screen. I am fairly new to this board and feel it is very informative and appreciate all the info that is relayed. i had emailed this guy about the cost of his services. Since it was only $50 I figured I would give it a shot. The following day I had to go out of town on business and didn't get a chance to send him the $50.00. When I arrived back home and checked my email, there were about 6 or 7 messages from him saying " it was my loss " or i am a deadbeat and it seemed like the only thing that mattered to him was that he didn't get the stinken $50. Now I would never send him the cash even if he won 100% of his games
