The 3-8 YTD Knickerbockers travel to Detroit to face a solid 8-4 Piston team. The Knicks have not had much success in the early season, but have a tendency to behave this way in recent years. This series has remained competitive regardless of team records and abilities. Last season, these squads split. The all-time series is led by New York, 146-114. I expect a solid effort out of the visitor here tonight. They have a nice 9-point cushion and may get a fat home team returning from a productive road trip. New York is 12-4 ATS (+7.6 Units) in road games after a loss by 10 points or more over the last 3 seasons. Also, New York is 4-3 against the spread versus Detroit over the last 3 seasons. I'll take a shot here.
