Friday Night Betting Lines and Key Games for Nov. 8
Atssportsline.com

It's college basketball season babyee!!! What a big night in sports as you need more than just on TV to follow all the action. We'll concentrate on college tonight with one football game in the Big East and several key non-conference college basketball games, along with an NBA game on ESPN. Here at ATS Sportsline, we've been waiting since April for college hoops to start up again.

Let's get it underway

Football: Pittsburgh (4-5) at Connecticut (3-6)

Last year: PITTSBURGH (-10) over Connecticut, 35-20. The Panthers are coming off a difficult 29-26 triple overtime loss at Notre Dame, while Uconn fell at South Florida, 13-6. Pittsburgh will try to rebound from a tough loss and move closer to bowl eligibility on that Notre Dame loss. Kevin Harper missed a potential game-winning 33-yard field goal wide right after Pittsburgh recovered a fumble in the end zone. Pittsburgh is 17-5 ATS L22 after a SU loss.. College Odds: Pittsburgh is a 3-point favorite. Total: 44.

Maryland vs. Kentucky

The Wildcats won their eighth title behind freshmen Anthony Davis, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and Marquis Teague. All were first-round NBA draft picks along with Terrence Jones; Doron Lamb and Darius Miller went in the second round. Maryland adds transfer guard Dez Wells from Xavier, who should make up for their loss of Terrell Stoglin. Maryland is 3-8 ATS L11 vs. non-conf. teams. College Hoops Line: Kentucky is a 12.5-point favorite. Total: 137.

Georgetown vs. Florida

Florida will be shorthanded when they battle Georgetown on the USS Bataan. Florida coach Billy Donovan suspended starting point guard Scottie Wilbekin indefinitely for an undisclosed reason. The Gators also will be without swingman Casey Prather (concussion). Throw in the unexpected departure of forward Cody Larson last month and Florida will be playing with five returning players and four freshmen against the Hoyas. Georgetown is 5-1 ATS L6 in series. College Odds: Florida is a 3.5-point favorite, Total: 121.5.

Indiana State at UCLA

Time to head to the West coast where #13 UCLA has a problem. Their star freshman guard Shabazz Muhammad not only has a shoulder injury but he may not be eligible. due to an NCAA investigation. UCLA will likely start twins David and Travis Wear, Norman Powell and Larry Drew II, who sat out last season after transferring from North Carolina and is the Bruins' only true senior. The Sycamores went 18-15 last season, including an 8-10 record. Indiana State is 9-4 ATS L13 overall. Basketball odds: UCLA is a 15.5-point favorite. Total: 129.
