Bowl Betting Odds and Basketball Matchups: Dec. 21

Are you getting ready for the holidays and still haven't completed your shopping? Get ready for a huge slate of basketball games and one exciting bowl game. Add a little extra dough on Friday by picking a bowl game or finding a great side or total from one of the MANY college and pro basketball games on the slate tonight. We're getting closer to the holidays, which also means bowl season is back.

Let's get rolling!

UCF (9-4 SU, 6-7 ATS, 10-3 O/U) vs. Ball State (9-3 SU, 9-3 ATS, 6-5-1 O/U)

Central Florida looks to bounce back from an overtime loss in the C-USA Championship game to Tulsa, 33-27 in overtime. Ball State is one of the hottest bowl teams, having won six straight games. They ended the season with a 31-24 road win over Miami-Ohio giving 8 on Nov. 23. Central Florida has been balanced by scoring 31 times on the ground and 25 through the air. RB Latavius Murray has 1,035 yards rushing in 10 games. Quarterback Blake Bortles has thrown 22 touchdown passes with only seven interceptions. UCF is 13-5 ATS L18 following an ATS loss. College Football Odds: UCF is a 7-point favorite. Total: 48.

Chicago (14-10 SU, 9-15 ATS, 8-16 O/U) at NY Knicks (19-6 SU, 15-10 ATS, 13-10-2 O/U)

Last game (Dec. 8): CHICAGO (-2.5) over NY Knicks, 93-85. The Knicks are coming off a big win over Brooklyn on Wednesday night as F Carmelo Anthony returned from a sprained ankle to pour in 31 points as the Knicks beat the Nets, 100-86 giving 6. The Bulls have one of the best defensive teams in the league, as they are coming off a 100-89 win over the Boston Celtics, giving 1.5. Bulls center Joakim Noah had a triple-double with 11 points, 10 assists and 13 rebounds against he Celtics. Knicks are 5-2 ATS last 7 at home in series. Pro Hoops Lines: NY Knicks are a 6.5-point favorite. Total: 188.5.

Milwaukee (13-11 SU, 12-12 ATS, 9-14-1 O/U) at Boston (13-12 SU, 9-14-2 ATS, 14-10-1 O/U)

Last game (Dec. 1): MILWAUKEE (-2.5) over Boston, 91-88. Milwaukee has quietly been in the early playoff hunt in the East as they've won five of seven. But the Bucks are coming off a 90-80 road loss to Memphis, getting 9 on the road. Boston is coming off a 103-91 win on Wednesday at home against Cleveland, which broke a three-game losing streak. Paul Pierce scored 40 points to lead the Celtics over the Cavs. G Monta Ellis (18.4ppg) and G Brandon Jennings (18ppg) lead the Bucks. Milwaukee is 6-2 ATS L8 on the road in series. Pro Hoops Odds: Boston is a 5-point favorite Total: 192.

BYU (8-3 SU, 4-6 ATS) at Baylor (7-3 SU, 2-4 ATS)

Last year: Baylor (+4) over BYU, 86-83. Both of these teams could do some damage in the NCAA Tournament later in March. BYU is coming off a 99-62 win on Tuesday over Eastern New Mexico as Brandon Davies led the Cougars with 17 points. The Cougars have won three straight and six of seven. Baylor is coming off a 73-57 win over USC Upstate Spartans on Monday. Cory Jefferson led the Bears with 17 points. The Bears won three of their last four games. BYU is 2-6 ATS L8 overall. College Basketball lines: Baylor is a 7-point favorite. Total: 150.
