Atssportsline.com

The NBA is back tonight with a full schedule and there's another enticing bowl matchup. While last night's Fiesta Bowl didn't quite live up to the hype, you have two of the game's best quarterbacks going up against average defenses in the Cotton Bowl. So before you get ready for the NFL playoffs, check out some of the key betting opportunities below.

Here we go!

Oklahoma (10-2 SU, 6-6 ATS, 7-4 O/U) vs. Texas A&M (10-2 SU, 7-5 ATS, 4-6 O/U)

Last year: OKLAHOMA (-13.5) over Texas A&M, 41-25. This is a chance to be one of the most exciting bowl games. These two former rivals in the Big 12 now face each other in Dallas. Texas A&M continues their success in the SEC under former Houston coach Kevin Sumlin. Oklahoma is coming off five straight wins, including a 24-17 road victory over TCU on Dec. 1. The Aggies take on the Sooners on Friday at 8pm from Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Tx. Johnny Manziel went from redshirt freshman to Heisman Trophy winner. He led a Texas A&M team that lost two games including a 24-19 home loss to LSU on Oct. 20 and an opening loss to Florida, 20-17. But Oklahoma has their own outstanding quarterback in senior QB Landry Jones, who ranks fifth in the nation with 332.4 passing yards per game.Oklahoma is 4-1 ATS last 5 in series. College Football Line: Texas A&M is a 3-point favorite. Total: 72.5.

Chicago (17-13 SU, 10-20 ATS, 11-19 O/U) at Miami (22-8 SU, 15-15 ATS, 15-15 O/U)

Chicago is coming off a 96-94 win over Orlando on the road, laying 3. The Bulls have been decent considering they've played the first half of the year without Derrick Rose. Miami has won two straight overtime games, beating Dallas by 119-109 giving 10.5 on Jan. 2 and edging Orlando by two, giving 10 on Dec. 31 on the road. LeBron James missed practice yesterday but is listed as probable. The Heat want to get out and run while the Bulls want to make this a halfcourt game. Chicago is 12-3 ATS last 15 Friday games. Pro Basketball Odds: Miami is a 8-point favorite. Total: 191.0.

Houston (18-14 SU, 18-13-1 ATS, 18-14 O/U) at Milwaukee (16-14 SU, 16-14 ATS, 12-17-1)

Led by James Harden and Chandler Parsons, the Rockets are second in the league in 3s per game (9.7) and attempts (27.2). However, they also rank second in points in the paint with 46.8 per game. Houston matched a season low with five 3s -- in 24 attempts -- but defeated New Orleans 104-92 on Wednesday, giving 10. The Rockets outscored the Hornets 60-28 in the paint -- Harden scored 16 of those -- en route to their seventh win in nine games. The Bucks are among the league leaders in fewest 3s allowed at 5.7 per game, but they gave up nine in 17 attempts in Wednesday's 117-110 home loss to San Antonio, getting 5.5.
Milwaukee is 0-8 ATS last 8 vs. Southwest Division. Hoops Odds: Milwaukee is a 1.5-point favorite. Total: 212.

LA Lakers(15-16 SU, 13-17-1 ATS, 16-14-1 O/U) at LA Clippers (25-8 SU, 20-13 ATS, 18-15 O/U)

Last game: (Nov. 2) LA Clippers (-1.5) over LA LAKERS, 105-95. After a franchise-record winning streak, the Los Angeles Clippers hope to rediscover their shooting touch and stop a skid. The Clippers dropped two in a row since taking 17 straight. They've posted season-low shooting percentages in each of their last two games - both defeats. The Lakers lost to Philadelphia at home on Jan. 1, 103-99, giving 9. The Clippers made 38.5 percent in a 92-78 loss at Denver on Tuesday and 36.4 percent in a 115-94 defeat at Golden State on Wednesday. The Clippers are expected to have forward Caron Butler back after he missed Wednesday's game because of personal reasons. LA Clippers are 6-1 ATS last 7 in series. NBA Odds: LA Clippers are a 4.5-point favorite. Total: 205.5.
