Last game: (12/14/12). HOUSTON (-2.5) over Boston, 101-89.The Boston Celtics are the best 18-17 team in the NBA. They are finally healthy, with G Avery Bradley back and G Rajon Rondo isn't suspended for a change. The C's are coming off winning four straight games, including a 87-79 home win over Phoenix at home on Wednesday. Houston had won five straight games but fell back down to earth on Wednesday, losing to New Orleans on the road, 88-79, giving 2.5. The Rondo-Jeremy Lin matchup will be key for the Rockets. Last game: (12/21/12). Chicago (+6.5) over NEW YORK, 110-106. This is usually a physical battle but in the first matchup, Chicago shot 8-of-18 from beyond the arc. The Bulls were led by Luol Deng, who had 29 points and Marco Belinelli, who scored 22. The Bulls are coming off a 104-96 home loss to Milwaukee on Wednesday. Carmelo Anthony returns to the Knicks on Friday night after being suspended for Thursday night's game with Indiana. Point guard Ray Felton is still out with a fractured finger and will be out for another few weeks. Knicks are 0-4 ATS last 4 as a home favorite. NBA Basketball Odds: New York is a 5.5-point favorite. San Antonio (28-10 SU, 22-15-1 ATS, 18-20 O/U) at Memphis (23-10 SU, 20-12-1 ATS, 11-22 O/U)
Last game: (12/1/12). SAN ANTONIO (-6) over Memphis, 99-95ot. 114-108. The Spurs hope to avoid their seventh loss in nine road games, as they continue to falter on the road. The Grizzlies look for their fourth straight win as the top two teams in the Southwest Division meet on Friday night. Memphis has a chance to gain ground, entering this game trailing San Antonio by 2 1/2 games. The Spurs have beaten the Grizzlies five straight times, including a 99-95 overtime win on Dec. 1, since Memphis stunned top-seeded San Antonio in the first round of the 2010-11 playoffs. San Antonio ranks among the top three in the NBA in scoring at 104.9 points per game, but has averaged just 85.5 in its last two road games compared to 112.0 in its last six at home. The Grizzlies return home, where they're 13-4, after sweeping a three-game West Coast road trip. Memphis won for the fourth time in five games with a 94-87 victory at Golden State on Wednesday night. Oklahoma City (27-8 SU, 21-13-1 ATS, 18-17 O/U) at Los Angeles Lakers (15-20 SU, 14-20-1 ATS, 19-15-1 O/U)
Last game: (12/7/12): OKLAHOMA CITY (-7.5) over LA Lakers, 114-108. The Los Angeles Lakers completed a two-game trip earlier this week without Dwight Howard (shoulder), Pau Gasol (concussion) and Jordan Hill (hip). Howard and Hill will not play Friday while Gasol has not been ruled out. Forwards Antawn Jamison and Earl Clark received more minutes in Tuesday's 125-112 loss to Houston and Wednesday's 108-105 defeat at San Antonio. Bryant scored 27 on Wednesday. Los Angeles last dropped six in a row during a seven-game slide March 2-15, 2007. The Lakers did not have Gasol or Steve Nash when they fell 114-108 at Oklahoma City on Dec. 7 in the lone previous matchup this season.
