Atssportsline.com

TGIF! That could also mean thank God it's February. We love that month here at ATS Sportsline with basketball taking over, as teams start to position themselves for March Madness. In the NBA, teams want to start playing their best ball before the All-Star Break. There are 12 NBA games on Friday so we'll highlight the top games with a betting primer.

Let's get ready for some NBA!

Miami (29-13 SU, 21-21 ATS, 20-22 O/U) at Indiana (27-19 SU, 24-22 ATS, 17-28-1 O/U)

Last game: (1/8/13). INDIANA (+2) over Miami, 87-77. Miami is coming off a 105-85 win over Brooklyn on the road on Wednesday giving 2.5. Reggie Evans talked some trash before the game for the Nets about LeBron James and the Heat took it out on the poor Nets. Indiana dominated Detroit, 98-79 on Wednesday, giving 8.5 at home. Miami travels to Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind, to meet the Pacers at 7pmET.
Miami is 3-7 ATS last 10 vs. Eastern Conference. Pro Basketball Odds: Miami is a 2.5-point favorite. Total: 183.

Chicago (28-17 SU, 18-27 ATS, 18-27 O/U) at Brooklyn (27-19 SU, 21-22-3 ATS, 20-25-1 O/U)

Last game: (12/15/12). CHICAGO (-4.5) over Brooklyn, 83-82. Chicago has won five of the last six in this series. Chicago is coming off a 104-88 win at Milwaukee on Wednesday night. That was without Carlos Boozer, who is questionable with a hamstring injury. The Bulls take on Brooklyn who were crushed by Miami at home on Wednesday night, 105-85, getting 2.5. It might have been a good idea for Reggie Evans to talk trash to LeBron James before the game. Home team is 5-1 ATS L6 in series. Hoops Odds: NL. Total: NT.

Portland (23-22 SU, 20-23-2 ATS, 21-23-1 O/U) at Utah (25-21 SU, 22-23-1 ATS, 22-23-1 O/U)

Last game: (4/26/12). UTAH (-7.5) over Portland, 96-94. Portland has won three of their last four games including a 106-104 win over Dallas on Tuesday, giving 3. Damian Lilliard and All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge lead an inconsistent Blazers squad. Utah has won two of three, including a 104-99 win over New Orleans at home, giving 8. The road team is 4-1 ATS last 5 in series . Pro Hoops Odds: Utah is a 5-point favorite. Total: 195.5.
