Got to disagree with you ladies and go with the 49er's. It is pre-season after all and you will see very little of the starters. Maybe 6-9 plays before the coaches start dicking around. I just think that Spurrier will need to get this game under his belt to get used to the NFL style and see how his coaching technique will play out there. I see him trying a lot of different things just to get the feel while I think that San Fran will be playing more of a "real" game to work on the system they already have in place.
We'll see tonight but I am taking San Fran -2.5 if I can still find it anywhere.

Many moons though since Spurrier last saw NFL action. The NFL of today is no comparison to what he remembers. Also, don't forget Wash is an expensive team with a lot of ego's. He is used to giving orders and them being taken. High dollar players are intimidated like college kids are.
I just think this game will be a learning and info gathering experience for him. I expect him to come out and try a lot of different things but not put too much pressure on marching the ball down the field.
