3/6 NBA:

Golden State @ Chicago 8:35 PM EST

Golden State -3.5 over Chicago (4 Units)

The red-hot Golden State Warriors look to make it seven straight wins and jump above .500 for the first time in nearly a decade when they head to Chicago to take on the Bulls... and while we have normally been a big supporter of Jalen Rose and company at home, this is one instance where we feel compelled to go against them and take the favored Warriors...

Golden State has been exceptional over the years as a road favorite, despite rarely being given enough respect to even obtain that role... in fact, the Warriors are a whopping 14-1 ATS as a road favorite since 1996, including NINE straight wins and covers over the past several seasons... throw in the fact that Golden State is now 13-4 ATS in their last seventeen games as a favorite regardless of location (including a half point ATS loss), and have won and covered each of their last five games as a favorite, and you have a Warriors team that is learning to enjoy life as a frontrunner...

Golden State's performance on the road against bad teams goes even beyond their record as a road fav, as the Warriors are a whopping 11-2 ATS on the road against teams with losing records this season... and the Bulls, with their 21-41 mark on the season, definitely fall into that category... The Bulls have been utterly defenseless over the past couple of weeks, allowing at least 100 points to six of their last eight opponents (and an average of 1002.3 ppg), while scoring more than 96 points just once in their last seven contests, and averaging just 91.6 ppg in that span... with the Warriors tightening up their defense to the tune of just 93.2 ppg in their last five games, while still maintaining their explosiveness on offense, it seems unlikely that the Bulls have a shot at winning or covering this contest...

Golden State is currently on a three game winning streak, and their 10-1-1 ATS record after a SU win indicates a team that is learning how to stay on a roll after several seasons of inconsistent and mediocre play... It's not as if Chicago has had much success against the Warriors anyway, as Golden State is a whopping 7-2 ATS against the Bulls, and have won six of the last seven contests straight up... The Bulls may be 18-11 on the year at home, but they have been blown out in their last two home contests, and have lost six of their last eight games overall by double-digits... Take the Warriors to win this one and extend their impressive streak as a road fav...

FINAL PREDICTION: GOLDEN STATE 108, CHICAGO 96
