MLB - 3-3 yesterday for -(4.6) units, bringing the week to -17.1 units.

NHL - Cane's win : 3-1 for +(13.4) units for the week.

Overall yesterday 4-3 for +(1.8) units

Today's HIT Plays - 5/24/02

MLB: Line : Units : Comments

Rockies (+105) (5)
Stark has been solid in 2 starts going 2-0 with a 0.69 era and the pen checks in with a 3.13 era for the Rockies. Bonds and company will have a hard time hitting the LIMP BALLS at Coors Field. Edge to ROCKIES.

Twins (+155) (5)
I'm jumping off the Angels in this one as Reed is much better then his #'s indicate. He is 3-1 career vs. the Angels and the bullpen is solid with a 2.71 road era. The Angels 5.7 rpg slump at home to 4.9 rpg. Edge to TWINS...

Astros (-125) (4)
Astros come into this game avg. 5.7 rpg at home. Redding has a 3.27 home era and should have no problem holding off the anemic Cubs offense. Edge to ASTROS...

Reds (+115) (4)
Hamilton comes into this game with a 2.70 road era, while the bullpen posts a 1.87 era. Reds bats avg 4.8 rpg vs. righty starters. Millwood is 0-4 at home with a 5.04 era, while the bats avg. 3.8 rpg vs. righties. Edge to REDS...

Dodgers (+160) (3)
We have quite a pitching match-up on our hands. Schilling is 8-1 with a 3.04 era, Perez is 4-2 with a 1.99 era. LA is comfortable on the road going 15-9. Schilling causes big prices - I think the value is on Perez. Edge to DODGERS....

NBA : Line : Units : Comments

Kings (+6.5) (4)
Kobe still isn't 100% leaving practice 3 times to throw up. The line seems a little high - this game should end close.

NHL : Line : Units : Comments

Av's -115 (4) Must win for the Av's ....
