Overall yesterday 4-5 for +(.4) units.

Today's HIT Plays - 5/28/02

MLB: Line : Units : Comments

Twins (+145) (5)
Fiore had 1 start and gave up 4 runs over 5 innings and comes in with a 7.20 era. Park is 1-1 in 3 starts with a 6.35 era, that shrins to 1.80 at home (hi winning start). I don't think the #'s tell the whole story here and like the hard hitting Twins with the much better bullpen. Edge to TWINS

Col/SD over (8 -110) (5)
The Rockies have been pounding righties all year avg. 5.7 rpg. COLORADO is 11-5 (+5.7 Units) against SAN DIEGO over the last 3 seasons 8 of 14 games in this series have gone OVER THE TOTAL over the last 3 seasons . (Over=+1.7 Units). Edge to OVER...

Cards (-110) (4)
I have to say this is a nice price to play Morris. The Cards have been tearing it up lately and the Astros have fallen backward. Edge to CARDS...

Reds (-130) (3)
Pitching will be the key for this game - Dressens is comes in with a 2.51 era that sinks to 1.06 on the road. Tavarez has a 6.72 home era. The Reds have the better bull pen and are 13-8 after a loss. Edge to REDS...

Yanks (-130) (3)
Lilly has been solid in his starts with a 3.08 era, if the Yanks bats can give him a little run support he should coast to his 2nd win. Edge to YANKS...

NBA : Line : Units

Lakers (+2.5) (5)
Lakers are riding high - should be close again.

NHL : Line : Units

Canes (+140) (5)
I predicted the Canes in 5 - so I guess it will be 6.
