MLB: Line: Units : Comments

Pirates Gm1 (+110) (5)
Anderson has pitched well with a 2.75 road era and the bullpen has been just as good with a 2.80 road era for Pitt. The Cubs are 3-8 vs. leftie starters and Bere posts a 6.65 home era - edge to Pitt....

Twins -135 (5)
Offense will be the key here as the pitchers look pretty evenly matched. The Rangers road offense has been less then spectacular posting a .252 ba and 4.3 runs per game, going 2-10 vs. lefties this season. The bullpen posts a 6.0 road era. The Twins home offense is respectable putting up 5.2 runs per game with a .292 ba and their pen has been up to par with a 3.63 home era - edge to TWINS...

Padres +115 (4)
Here again we have a solid pitching matchup so we look else where for an edge, here there are 2 glaring facts : 1- Colorado is 2-11 vs. division opponents this season. 2- San Diego is 11-5 vs. Col. the last 3 seasons. Edge to PADRES...

Cin/Fla over 8.5(+110) (4)
18 of 24 games in this series have gone OVER THE TOTAL since 1997. Burnett is 1-2 when starting against the Reds with an ERA of 7.06 and a WHIP of 1.754. His team's record is 2-2 (+0.3 units) in these starts. The OVER is 4-0. (+4.0 units) - edge to OVER.

Nets -2.5 (5)
I believe the Celtics are over matched and have a hard time winning one game.

NHL : Line : Units

Hurricanes +140 (4)
Hard not to like a road dog as good as Carolina.

Angels -180 (5) The Angels offense has been exploding avg. 5.7 runs per game - KC's pitching just won't keep up.

Cards -110 (3) The Cards have the better starting pitcher, bullpen and offense for this game.
