Do you play in a golf tourney with a bunch of dirtbags, shoot a 64 and still not even come into the top 5? WTF?
My feet hurt, I got a sunburn like you wouldn't believe and I didn't even get a crappy trophy.

I've played in enough of them to know you can't win. I've seen 15 under in many of these "scrub" tourneys.
It's a damn shame.
i'm with Big T..i've seen 15 to 18 win many of these capt choice tourney's...apparently it wasn't the case in this one if you say they were hacks but alot of times people come in with teams that are LOADED!! and then of course you can't beat the damn pencil whippers!!
Yea man I am real pissed about this crap. 8 hours wasted.
Next time I will make sure I use my pencil wedge a lot more

At least you were playing golf and thats all that matters, last year I shot a 139 and I loved it, normaly I break 100. I was hammered and pretty high thats maybe why I did'nt care but you know its gonna be one of those days when you got a half dozen beer gone before 7:00 in the morning. Me and my buddy had a dozen beer in a little cooler but the marshal said we could'nt put the cooler in the cart with us so we said fine and put back the full dozen in about 2 minutes on the first tee, good thing he did'nt know about the other dozen beer and bottle of Jack Danials in my bag if I drank all that I dont think I would of been able to make it off the first tee.

Good thing about this is they gave away a cooler at the get-go so that was never a problem. I didn't drink anyway but it was nice to have. We have a killer team and it bums be out that I know some people weren't honest about their scores.
Got a tight bag of goodies though. Best I have gotten to date. It was for a good cause too so I need to let it go I reckon.

Tbone and I played in one of these events a few weeks ago and we drank to much to be a real factor, 68 or 69 i think. But at least all 4 guys in our group work for the company. I think the team that won brought in outsiders that were single digit handicappers and were 14 under. By the way, Tbone has a sweet swing for a guy who doesn't play as much as he should. I'm jealous !
LOL ya thats how we play golf up here that day we actually played 3 and a half rounds in the spring the course has a deal on $50 you can play all day with a power cart I had to add this in after I read my last post it kind of made me seem a bit mental to drink all that and smoke a big bag of some good stuff all in one round thats even a bit much for me. When I look back on that day I cant believe we all walked away there was a few times we could of got seriously hurt, around here the courses got some really steep hills and rivers with jagged rocks we almost ended up in there a few times we had em up in the middle of the woods that was'nt even part of the course but we have'nt flipped on yet but we came close a couples time anyway that was some good times.

I mean I guess it is possible if you had some real ringers but I just didn't see anyone like that in this group. 64 was a pretty solid showing from my team I thought. Not good enough though
I got 3 more chances to redeem my honor though before the seasons up. Hopefully I can bring home something next time.
