Due to a very, very poor forum participation rate from the 30+ people in the POD and the very, very poor sign-up rate at any of the site sponsors, the October POD will only be for a $100 Betting Account at a Sponsor Book (No Cash Anymore) and 2nd, 3rd and 4th will get CappersNetwork.com shirts.
If you don't want to play for these prizes and want to get it back to cash then show me you care about the site and not just the contests.
As soon as I get some participation on the rest of the board from the POD participants and as soon as the sponsors start seeing some return for their generous sponsorship of the site and keeping alive where you visit everyday I will start passing out cash again. I agree. the participation on this site has sucked. I would come on the forum about an hour before game time and see up to four people on the forum. I know people have lives but the participation lately has been pathetic. 
Half hour before game time 8 regulars 10 anonymous. Come on!
Agreed totally 100% Hummer. It sucks, no amount of money in the world spent on advertising, content or software will replace the people that make the online handicapping arena so fun and informative.
Hopefully this will be a shot in the arm and get us back on track. I know that the people visiting this site would make it #1 without question if they would just speak up.
I have no problem passing out Ca$h every month, but if I am not getting any love back for the site and the die-hards, then I am just gonna stop it till things turn around.
