Important Information Regarding BettorsNetwork.com

Hi Everyone,

I hope this note finds everybody happy and healthy. We are writing you today to make everyone aware of some changes here at BettorsNetwork you should know about as we head into football season.

Starting August 1, 2006 BettorsNetwork will begin operating under a new name and url. That name will be TheSpread and you will be able to access the new site at www.thespread.com.

The reason for this name change is twofold. First, earlier this year I was approached by a group of investors who wished to buy me out and have me work for them as their COO on this new site. After many hours of negotiations and much discussion with my family I decided to hand over ownership of BettorsNetwork and accept their offer. Secondly, it's a great name! BettorsNetwork was always sort of ambiguous in terms of what we actually offered. TheSpread.com makes it very clear what our business is all about. This new opportunity combined with this great, brandable name will secure our place in this business for many years to come.

Everything you have come to know about BettorsNetwork will still hold true at TheSpread.com. The name will be different but all the faces will be the same. When we re-launch on August 1 you will have a better, much easier site to navigate with some awesome unique content and exciting contests to keep you entertained all year, not just during football.
