Rams' starters may stay seated tonight.
It's the Rams' third preseason game, and that's usually the game where
the starters see their most extensive playing time. "Normally, the third
preseason game is, but I'm not sure that is going to be the case this week
because we have so many people nicked up," Martz said."I'm not sure we
are going to have one of those kind of games. Maybe against Kansas City
(on Aug. 31) we'll play guys a little longer than we normally would."
Quarterback Kurt Warner won't play much more than a quarter against the
Chargers. Running back Marshall Faulk won't play more than one or two
offensive series.
