PHILADELPHIA -- The quiet was broken Sunday morning at Allen Iverson's mansion, where the NBA superstar was holed up awaiting his arrest on assault charges.

Iverson's house has been quiet for days, but party-goers spent the overnight hours into Sunday playing basketball in the rain and swimming in the pool at the mansion in Gladwyne.

Photographs taken by the Associated Press on Sunday morning showed Iverson in a heated discussion with an unidentified older woman on the front step just before 5 a.m. as the party was breaking up.

Police filed warrants for Iverson's arrest on Thursday, the same day they searched the suburban Philadelphia mansion and towed off a Cadillac SUV, in which they found broken glass and blood.

Police charge that an armed Iverson went looking for his wife after a marital dispute on July 3 and threatened two Philadelphia men at his cousin's apartment.

Police have ordered the 76ers guard to stay home until Tuesday, when, accompanied by his lawyer, he is scheduled to turn himself in.
