guys have any ideas for a contest post them here
Any March Madness contest would rule. My preference though would be one that gives a lot of scoring weight to the first few rounds. In other words, giving oodles of points for picking the final four teams (and finalists and winner, etc.) makes the first few rounds unimportant, and makes for a less interesting contest (IMO).

If you guys get a good enough concept I will ask around and see if I can get any sponsors to contribute some prizes.

How about a contest where those who participate pick pointspread winners from every game in the NCAA tournament. That is a total of 63 games. The one with the best record would win. We could do early lines for the first 2 days so people could get their picks in early for that first crazy Thurs and Fri. After that we could post lines in the AM like we do for the pod. Eligibility should be the same as for the POD, only active participants within the site. Perhaps an entry fee would weed out the contest only type. I think this would be fun and I would be willing to help with the work involved.
How about this. We go on and sign up at a free place where we have a pass word and username(use your name you use on here. Make it a private league. You guys in charge of this site set a money figure we all agree to and we send it to one of you guys in trust. 1,2,3 gets a share and last place gets something like a refund. Could send it through paypal or snail mail. Paypal would be easier as you only need a email which everyone has.
Just a thought.
Or if no $ is involved we could still do this way.
