My selection tonight is to take Oakland. The Raiders are 14-4 ATS over the last 3 years against teams with a winning record. They are also 19-8 ATS against AFC East teams over the last 10 years. At home, they score points in bunches. I'll be impressed if the Jets improving defense can stop this offensive machine.
The Jets are certainly a better team with Pennington. But overall on the season, they have 8 less points scored than they have given up, while the Raiders have scored 90 more points scored than they have allowed.
I just think the Raiders are a better team...with a more experienced QB...at home...chasing the Chargers for the division lead...
Although I will not wager a large amount, I have to side with the Raiders here.
