They are too good for Pittsburgh. I don't care about all the Monday night records of Cowher. I don't care that Rothlisberger is back. I don't care about any of that. All I care about is one thing: Indy lights this Steeler defense up just as they have the last 7 defenses they have faced. Pittsburgh lives and dies by the blitz and the bottom line is they won't change for anybody.

Peyton Manning will devour you if you blitz him and give him man to man matchups. Just ask Cincy about that. They got lit up by 45 playing a man to man against Manning. You can't give him those matchups. He will own you.

The Colts have put up no less than 31 points the past seven weeks with exception of a 28-3 win at Frisco. They put up 31 at Tennessee, 45 at home to the Rams, 38 at Houston, 40 at New England, 31 at home to Houston and the 45 last week at Cincy. They won those 7 games by margins of 21, 25, 17, 18, 19, 14 and last week by 8, although they dominated Cincy a lot more than that final score would lead you to believe.

I know Pittsburgh will try to get physical and run the football and use the clock, and they may have some success doing that, but Indy is just too hot right now and will win this game by double digits.

Indy hasn't done this for 2 weeks or 3 weeks, the Colts have now done it for 7 weeks in a row, every way possible, with a consistency that is unmatched in this league. Every week just clicking at a level other teams only dream about..

As I said above, the downfall for Pittsburgh in this game is their inablitly to change what they do on defense. They are made up one way and one way only, be physical, control the line of scrimmage and blitz on passing downs.

You just can't do that against Indy. This is as bad a matchup for Pittsburgh's defense as they will ever have and Indy just keeps rolling at home and they roll large comfortably.

Lay it as my first NFL 200 dimer of the year delivers with Indy.

Final score...Indy 38-20

Virginia Tech

Not a believer in this Ohio State team, at least not right now. They struggled to beat a Butler team that shouldn't have been on the same floor with them. Now Vegas has them laying close this much to an ACC team that is 5-1 this year and starting to gel a little. Tech has played a lot and it's all been by design. Their only loss was a 1 point loss to Bowling Green to start the year and since then they have reeled off 5 in a row all by double digits. Now I know this is a step up for them, but let's not forget, this is still an ACC school and I will gladly grab the points and call for this one to go down to the wire.

Georgia Southern

This is a battle of 3-2 teams but in my opinion, you are getting tremendous line value here because Ill/Chicago blasted a rebuilding Georgia Tech team in Atlanta. The linemaker has over reacted to that win and in my opinion, made the wrong team the favorite. This Ga Southern team is full of talent and is tested, with battles on the road at Texas Tech and Kansas State. At home, they are 3-0 with all 3 wins by double digits. I really feel the wrong team is favored and will take the points and call for Southern to get the win.

Tennessee Tech

Not that I am picking on two teams from the same league, but Wisconsin Milwaukee is getting respect for their run in last year's NCAA tourney. They do have 4 returning starters back but the league MVP is gone. Milwaukee has played only two games this year and is 1-1 with the loss at Memphis by 27. I will force this team to go on the road again, against a Tech team that is athletic and can flat out score. They lost at Dayton, a team that is going to be very good this year, and the two home wins were over Pac-10 Oregon State by 28 and 117-85 over Bluefield College. I know this is a step up but they hammered Oregon State and I feel they win this game at home as well.
