Tonight:
2X-- SAN ANTONIO SPURS -1 1/2
The Spurs literally limp into Memphis tonight. The guards legs are sore and they are banged up at the point guard spot. Tony Parker will sit again tonight. Regardless, they have enough talent to overcome this small spot on the road. San Antonio has been a menace to the Grizzlies all-time. The Spurs won 3 of the 4 meetings between these two last season and have won 22 of the last 23 in the series. The Spurs dominance is even more impressive on the road. San Antonio has never lost at the Pyrimad in Memphis and has garnered 13 straight road wins against the Grizzlies franchise. Their last road lost to the Grizzlies was in Vancouver. Look for a tough battle tonight. The game will stay close because of the Spurs lack of point guard play, but I think Tim Duncan and the Spurs shooting guards will pull this out. San Antonio can still execute on offense and plays very solid defense. The Spurs still possess superior players. San Antonio is my play.
