Toronto (Loaiza) @ Oakland (Harang)
Going to back the visiting Jays here and yes I know that Delgado is out.
Estaban Loaiza takes the hill for Toronto tonight to face the A's who he completely shut down in his last start against pitching 9 innings allowing just 2 hits striking out 7 and allowing no walks. He has the better numbers in his last 3 starts with a 4.00 ERA and a WHIP of 1.50.
Harang has an ERA of 6.00 and a WHIP of 1.60 in his last 3 starts, lasting 5.1 innings in his last trip to the hill allowing 1 earned run which happened to be a home run striking out 4 but also walking 4. This is his first start against the Blue Jays.
Toronto is batting a very solid .303 as a team against right handed starters over their last 10 games while the A's are only batting .250 over the same span.
Here is a little trend that I looked up and thought was interesting. I am going to call it the Bronx hangover, over the last 3 years the A's are just 6-7 after playing the Yankees in New York including a very poor 2-5 over the last 2 seasons and even more interesting 0-3 in the first game after playing in New York. That in itself gives this play value in my opinion as I really think that they really get up to play the Yankees and will have a little let down tonight.
Playing Toronto +200
RBI love the pick also
