Top Betting Odds for Dec. 17

Ok, it's Monday Night and there's a game that doesn't look great on paper. That doesn't mean it's not worth watching or betting on. The Jets are still in the playoff picture and the Titans might be playing for their jobs next season. The college schedule is deep but there aren't many intriguing games on the tube. But the NBA ha several great matchups including the Spurs against the Thunder.

Time to start the new week with some pigskin and hoops

NY Jets (6-7 SU, 7-6 ATS) at Tennessee (4-9 SU, 4-9 ATS)

The New York Jets are still alive in the AFC playoff picture. The Jets are coming off a 17-10 road win over Jacksonville last week, giving 3. The Titans fell at Indianapolis, 27-23, getting 3.5. . The Jets will need to run the football so they can avoid third-and-long scenarios with Mark Sanchez. The Jets and Shonne Greene, should be able to run on Tennessee, who allows an average of 127.0 rushing yards, tied for 23rd in the league. RB Chris Johnson has been held to 175 yards on 53 carries while failing to reach the end zone during the Titans' three-game slide. He was held to 44 yards on 19 rushes in last week's 27-23 loss at Indianapolis after Tennessee blew a 20-7 halftime lead. NY Jets are 6-0 ATS L6 in series. NFL Line: Tennessee is a 1.5-point favorite. Total: 42.

San Antonio (19-6 SU, 16-8-1 ATS) at Oklahoma City (19-4 SU, 14-8-1)

Last game: SAN ANTONIO (-2) over Oklahoma City, 86-84. Kevin Durant and the Thunder go for their 11th win in a row Monday night when they host Parker and the Spurs for the first time since eliminating them in last season's Western Conference finals. Oklahoma City has won 10 straight for the first time since an 11-game run in November 1996 when the franchise was in Seattle. The Thunder are averaging 109.6 points and shooting 50.2 percent during the current streak, keeping them perfect since a loss at Boston on Nov. 23. The Spurs broke a 2-game losing streak with a win over Boston at home, 103-88. Oklahoma City is 4-0-1 ATS L5 in series. NBA Lines: Oklahoma Cty is a 4.5-point favorite. Total: 207.5

Houston (11-11 SU, 10-11-1 ATS) at NY Knicks (18-5 SU, 14-9 ATS)

Last game: HOUSTON (+4) over NY Knicks, 131-103. This is more than just a revenge game for the Knicks. This marks the return of Jeremy Lin to the Big Apple. Linsanity is over and Lin is not a star, but a solid starter for the Rockets. The Knicks will vie for their 11th victory in as many home outings on Monday when they welcome a familiar face in Jeremy Lin and the Houston Rockets. New York posted its fourth straight win and improved to 21-1 at home under coach Mike Woodson with a 103-102 victory over Cleveland on Saturday.
