Happy New Year! Yes, there are four college football games on New Year's Eve. Check out the matchups HERE and look at the blog for the comprehensive preview. But right before 2013, there are several key basketball games in college in the top 25 and a several quality betting opportunities. So keep the champagne on ice and if you are going out tonight, be careful and have a great 2013!

Let's take a look at some hoops matchups:

#8 Cincinnati (12-1 SU, 5-4 ATS) at #24 Pittsburgh (12-1 SU, 3-3 ATS)

Last year: Cincinnati (+6) over PITTSBURGH, 66-63. Pittsburgh has lost just one game but they have played an incredibly soft schedule. They have yet to beat a ranked team. The Bearcats missed out on going 13-0 for the sixth time in school history with Thursday's 55-54 home loss to New Mexico, giving 6. Sean Kilpatrick had a chance to win it for Cincinnati but his shot just prior to the buzzer was blocked, with the defeat likely costing the team its highest ranking in nine years. Cincinnati averaged 83.0 points through its first 10 games.Pittsburgh, which will join the ACC next season, has won eight straight games against inferior competition since a 67-62 loss to then-No. 4 Michigan on Nov. 21..Cincinnati is 13-6 ATS L19 overall. College Basketball Line: Pittsburgh is a 18-point favorite. Total: 124.5.

#19 Michigan State (11-2 SU, 3-7 ATS) at #11 Minnesota (12-1, SU, 7-4 ATS)

Last year: Michigan State (+5.5) over MINNESOTA, 66-61. Both teams are outstanding defensively so don't expect a ton of points in this Big 10 matchup. Michigan State has won six straight after losing at Miami-Fla on Nov. 28, 67-59. Minnesota has won eight straight after losing to Duke, 89-72 on Nov. 22. Tubby Smith, 3-15 all-time versus the Spartans, may have his best team in his six seasons coaching the Gophers. Minnesota and Michigan State each are among the country's best outrebounding opponents by an average of 10.2 per game. Michigan State leads the conference in scoring defense (56.1), opponents' field percentage (35.3) and blocked shots (85). Michigan State is 9-2 ATS L11 in series.. College Basketball Odds: Minnesota is a 6-point favorite. Total: 127.

#13 Gonzaga (12-1 SU, 6-5 ATS) at #22 Oklahoma State (10-1 SU, 7-2-1 ATS)

Gonzaga has just one loss and it's to Illinois at home, 85-74 on Dec. 8 as a 11.5-point favorite. Defense has not been great for the Zags, even in their last victory against Baylor on Dec. 28, they allowed the Bears to shot 33 of 64, but still managed the win, 94-87 at home, giving 9.5. Now they have to go on the road, taking on an Oklahoma State team that has won five straight games. Their last win was over Tennessee Tech (-20.5) on Dec. 22, 78-42. Their one loss took place on Dec. 1 at Virginia Tech, 81-71. Gonzaga averages 82ppg and shoots 52% (2nd in the nation) from the field. Gonzaga is 1-9-1 ATS L11 road games. Hoops Odds: The game is a pick-em. Total: 136.
