Last week's loss with West Virginia was the years's first loss bringing my record to 6-1-1. Look to rebound in a big way this week with:

Iowa State -6.5 over Texas Tech

Iowa State is quietly fielding one of the best teams in the nation, while Texas tech is riding the coattails of a hot QB. The problem with Tech is their defense is HORRIBLE! Their offense has carried the load this year, but will run into problems against a very good State defense. The last couple of weeks Tech (against NC ST and Texas A&M) has had to come back from a big deficit in the fourth quarter after the opposing teams went on cruise control. Not this time. State has had two weeks to prepare for Tech's offense and look for them to hold Tech to between 21-28 points. States offense is just as good, if not better than Tech's, since it has a very good running attack to go along with Heisman hopeful QB Wallace at the helm. Put Tech's terrible defense up against that offense and you're gonna see fireworks. State should approach 50 in this one. After two weeks to prepare, home-field acvantage, and a excellent multi-dimensional team going up agains't a one-sided offense with a horrible defense, look for State to easily cover a TD spread.

Iowa State 49, Texas Tech 28

Thanks my man. Yesterday was a perfect example of why I throw half my bankroll on my big play. I ended up going 3-9-1 on the day !

My losers:
Clemson
San Jose State
Mia-Fla
Auburn
Purdue
Bowling Green
Arkansas State
Duke
Buffalo
I pushed on Georgia

My winners: NC State, Kansas State, big play Iowa State

I ended winning small even with that totally crappy day. Hopefully today will even out with a bunch of winners.
